Place branding? It’s not about the logo

We were privileged to spend a couple of days in Liverpool in May at the International Place Branding Event 2018, listening to speakers from some of the world’s top city destinations and sharing views and ideas with leading experts in destination marketing.

This is a field we’ve always had a passion for here at Exesios, having spent a couple of fantastic years working on the IBRAVE (Improvement of Branding for Rural Areas through Vocational Education) project. We got to collaborate (and drink wine) with partners in Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Romania, Belgium and the UK, working together to improve the image of their regions and increase tourism.

We learned a lot from the event in Liverpool, and we also had a meeting that could prove very exciting for Exesios …. watch this space!
